Post History
The SSG Robert R. Pirelli VFW Post# 12158 was opened on October 24th, 2016 by a group of Post 9/11 era veterans. We are the first VFW post in the nation to be opened on the campus of a private university, and only the second to be opened on a college campus in general. We are graciously hosted by Northeastern University’s Center for the Advancement of Veterans and Servicemembers, but membership is open to all eligible veterans in the Boston area! Post# 12158 aims to increase camaraderie between all generations of veterans, advocate for earned benefits such as education and health care, and to serve the communities that make up our great city through fundraising and community service.
